Amy Simpkins - Cherry Queen 2009!

There was a nervous atmosphere at the Cherry Festival Ball at 9.00pm on Friday 5th of December as the results for the 2009 Cherry Queen Competition were read out to the excited audience!

Amy Simpkins was crowned Cherry Queen 2009 in what was a very close result with Simone Edgerton and Carlie Kemp were joint runners up!

Congratulations Amy! The community is looking forward to you representing Young in 2009/10!
