CountryLink

There is one daily  CountryLink service to Young connecting with the XPT train in Cootamundra. The bus arrives in Young from either Dubbo or Bathurst at 11.35am and returns back to Young at 3.35pm from Cootamundra. Young Community Transport

Also on a one year trial is the Young Community Transport Service which is a same day return bus service from Young to Canberra. Boarding is also available from Murringo, Boorowa and Yass.

Drop off points in Canberra are the three major hospitals, the Jolimont Interchange in Canberra City and the Canberra Airport.

This service is available Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Bookings need to be made directly with Young Community Transport (6382 1518), Boorowa Community Transport (6385 3004) or Yass Home Living Support Services (6226 4555). Bookings will be taken during business hours up until 24hrs before the day of travel.

The service is available to anyone living within the communities of Young, Murringo, Boorowa and Yass who need to access services and facilities in Canberra.

Cost is $15 for a one way trip of $25 for a return trip
