Our vision is to always deliver responsive, innovative and quality services as required by service users.

ATSS provides training, support and advocacy, enabling them to live as independently as possible within the community; in the least restrictive environment.

Service users live in a variety of settings suited to their individual skills and needs; these include LFE's own units or in the person's own house or unit within the community.

Adding to our new Centre in Young we have centre’s in Cowra, Cootamundra and Harden. We provide Respite Care, Early Intervention and Mental Health Service’s to surrounding towns.

Our businesses include the Commercial Laundry, Drink Machines, Workcrews, Raincroft Incubators, Cowra Breakout, Meryl’s on Main Op Shop and Technability.

Lambing Flat Folk Museum & Young Historical Society
The Young Historical Society Inc operates the Lambing Flat Folk Museum which is housed in part of the historic 1883 former public school building.

One of the many items on display is the "Roll-Up-Flag" a banner carried by the rioting European miners during this period of unrest in 1861. This flag forms part of the gold rush and mining history display.

The museum also houses textile, war, historic photographic collection,dentistry and hairdressing memoribilia a full size buggy and even a three legged chook.

The friendly volunteer staff members welcome visitors to the museum.

School groups - coach groups are welcome, please contact the staff for further information.

Only a short walk from the CBD and nearby parks & gardens with picnic facilities.

New Life Community Church
New Life Community Church is a young church, barely in their teens.
They are people of diverse back-grounds, ages, interests and talents.
Depending on your back-ground, you may find us conservative or contemporary.
Services regularily include: contemporary worship, bread breaking, preaching of the Word, prayer ministry and multimedia.

The Church is committed to the fundamental confessions of the Christian faith (the final authority of Scripture, the apostles and Nicene Creeds).
In addition, our vision and values express the truths restored to the church through the Reformation and the renewal movements of the Holy Spirit during the twentieth century.

Church life at NLCC includes:
Prayer - before church on Sundays; 48 hours and 24/7 prayer

Young & District Family History Group can assist you when researching your ancestors who spent time in the South-West Slopes area of New South Wales.

The Society's experienced Research Officer is available to undertake research on your behalf for an initial fee of $25.00.

Young Regional School of Music Inc
Young Regional School of Music provides individual shared and group lessons for students of all ages who wish to learn singing or play an instrument.

A wide range of instruments are available to learn including brass, woodwind, string, drums, percussion, piano and keyboard. All styles from classical to jazz and pop are catered for. In addition we give lessons in speech and drama.

Many students also join one or more of our ensemble groups and enjoy learning to play together. We have smaller ensembles for flute, guitar, brass, and cello, and larger ensembles such as the Youth Band, jazz ensemble and three choirs- junior, intermediate and senior (adults).

Students can build performance experiences with concert opportunities and sit exams to receive formal credentials.

Two public concert series each year with professional artists provide an outlet for general members of the public to enjoy and expand their love of music.

YRSM also has music programs in local schools, music therapy, and creative music sessions for 2-5 year olds. We reach out to 800 students weekly.
